This week’s menu features family favorites and help from the slow cooker. It is going to be a tasty (and easy!) week of cooking around here!
Chicken Wild Rice Soup (Kitchen confession: I am usually lazy and just add cream soup instead of making the roux.)
Philly Cheesesteaks (recipe below) + fries + veggie sticks + comeback sauce
(Philly Recipe: 1 lb of steak + 1 sliced green pepper +1 sliced onion + 1 package sliced mushrooms + 3 Tbs grill seasoning + 3 Tbs unsalted butter. Put everything in crockpot on low for 8 hours, shred meat, serve topped with cheese on a bun. Great for a freezer meal too- just prep veggies and toss in the freezer!)
Buffalo Chicken Baked Potatoes + side salad (Do you do your baked potatoes in the crockpot? I highly recommend it! Here’s how.)
Cheeseburger Salad + garlic bread (We first tried this recipe about 10 years ago when my husband and I were just dating! It is still a favorite meal of ours)!
